Because I was a poor lonesome cow-boy, I had to manage all aspects of the job by myself: Today I can rely on more skills around me, but I’m constantly looking for new « productive » technologies that are quick to set up and easy to maintain over time.

FRAMEWORK OR NOT

I therefore do not mention the lots of frameworks and other libraries that I have used for years: I am able to learn and quickly take control of your favorite framework, as soon as we are brought to work for a little while together.

Regarding PHP Frameworks, I have been able to deploy applications with CakePHP, and I am currently working on Yii2 (linked to a WordPress site). I’m still a beginner on Laravel or even Slim, but I can get up to speed very quickly..

On the JS side, after some time hanging out on Vue.js, I finally turned to Node.js; even though I’ve been using it for a few years now, I’ve never had the opportunity to deploy it ina « real » production.

On JS, I like to use the potential of libraries as needed, which I can manipulate in JS (vanilla) as if to achieve my ends (like Chart.js).

In terms of production, however, it is mainly on WordPress that I work, making custom extensions in PHP / JS / CSS, to meet well-defined needs in a quick and inexpensive way. Finding solutions using only PHP and Javascript (as programming languages) is really what excites me the most, and, it’s enough to meet the needs of my clients, and fill my days.
